Juliet Holt Klinger, Senior Director of Dementia Care and Programs for Brookdale Senior Living is a gerontologist specializing in person-centered programs for moderate to late stage Alzheimer’s disease. As a trainer and program designer for 25 years, she has developed and operated programs for national companies representing both skilled nursing and assisted living levels of dementia care. Prior to joining Alterra Healthcare in 2005 as a Divisional Memory Care Specialist, Juliet held corporate level Alzheimer’s program consulting positions with Marriott Senior Living Services and subsequently Sunrise Senior Living. She became the National Director of Dementia Care for Brookdale in 2008.

Juliet holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and an Aging Studies Certificate from the University of Iowa and a Master’s Degree in Gerontology from the University of Northern Colorado. Recent presentations for Brookdale include; National Alzheimer’s Association Education Conference, 2008, American Medical Directors Association Long Term Care Medicine Conference, 2010, Washington State Alzheimer’s Association Conference, 2010, and Environments for Aging Conference 2012.
