Ms. Bieber has been a social worker for more than 30 years. She completed her Master of Social Work and an Interdisciplinary Certification in Gerontology from the University of Denver. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in both California and Illinois. She has worked in Retirement Communities, Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Facilities, Hospices, Home Health Care, Out-patient Centers, and both Community and Teaching Hospitals. Prior to moving to San Diego, she was the Manager of Social Work at the University of Chicago Hospitals and the Interim Director of Bereavement, Chaplaincy, Interpretive Services, and Social Work. Since November 2006, Ms. Bieber has been the Social Worker on the Senior Behavioral Health Unit at UC San Diego Health Systems. Over the years, she has presented at workshops, offered in-services, given lectures, and provided field education. Before anyone asks, Ms. Bieber is not related to Justin.
