Lauren oversees Nordic's training offerings for clients. She officially moved into her current role in 2018 after serving as practice director since 2014. As a practice director, Lauren headed a team of consultants working with Training, Beaker, and Willow. Before joining the home office, Lauren was a Nordic consultant fulfilling the training manager role at the University of Arizona Health Network. She was an Epic employee from 2006-2011, where she was a trainer for Orders, Order Transmittal and Willow classes. After leaving Epic, she co-owned and operated Race Day Events, LLC with her husband Ryan.

Lauren is Epic certified in Clin Doc, Orders, Willow, Ambulatory, Beacon, Order Transmittal, and Decision Support. She has a bachelor’s of science in cognitive psychology and a master’s of science in cognitive neuroscience from the University of Kansas. An avid runner, she has completed four Ironman Triathalons.
