Description
Noah Levine, Noah Levine, M.A. is a Buddhist teacher, author and speaker. Noah has created a process of addiction recovery based on the teachings of the Buddha called Refuge Recovery and is also the founder of Against the Stream Buddhist Meditation Society.
Upon completion of this session, attendees will be able to:
- Demonstrate and find and place attention in a unique way using basic mindfulness practice, and an object of mediation, such as breath
- Demonstrate a basic understanding of the philosophical framework of Buddhist practice
- Explain and learn about culturally relevant tools to bring mindfulness exercises into all areas of their lives
