Katie is vice president of Care Management Informatics and Business Support for Mercy Virtual where she combines proven approaches to data systems, analytics, technology, project management and care management to help lower costs, and improve access to care, quality and patient satisfaction. She also leads commercial and government business development and manages client relationships. Prior to her role with Mercy Virtual, she served as executive director of strategic initiatives for Mercy in St. Louis. Katie has more than 15 years of experience in the health care industry, first working as a physical therapist before transitioning into administrative roles. She received her bachelor’s degree in exercise science from Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri. She earned her master’s degree in physical therapy from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis and her master’s degree in business administration from Washington University in St. Louis.

Katie serves on several national and community boards, including the United Way Cabinet and its Women’s Leadership Society; the Washington University Olin Business School Alumni Board; the American College of Healthcare Executives’ Council of Regents for Missouri; and the Board of Governor’s Examination Committee. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, skiing and taking family vacations with her husband and two daughters.
