Dr. Craig Strauss is Medical Director of Quality, Innovation and Outcomes, for the Cardiovascular Service Line at Allina Health in Minnesota. Allina Health is a $4 billion, 13-hospital integrated delivery network that includes three large cardiac care centers including the Minneapolis Heart Institute. Dr. Strauss has a strong interest in cardiovascular quality and outcomes. He has been elected to serve on the Minneapolis Heart Institute Executive Committee and is actively involved in the Allina Integrated Medical Network, serving as vice chair of the Finance and Payer Contracting committee. Dr. Strauss’ clinical work includes focus areas of both transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography, nuclear imaging, and general cardiology. Dr. Strauss graduated from Dartmouth Medical School, where he also received a Masters of Public Health degree through Dartmouth’s Institute for Health Policy and Clinical Practice. Dr. Strauss completed his internal medicine residency at Abbott Northwestern Hospital where he served as Chief Resident in 2008. He completed his Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship at the University of Minnesota.
