Leveraging his experience in IT and Operations, David Murtagh leads the teams at Multiplan that manage the network provider data and lifecycle. His responsibilities span from administering contract data to credentialing providers and maintaining their current demographic information while ensuring its accuracy. Mr. Murtagh began his Multiplan career as Director, IT Service Management and Continuous Improvement. In that role, he was responsible for developing a three-year IT roadmap. He then focused primarily on building the organization’s service management function. Prior to joining Multiplan, Mr. Murtagh was Operations Manager at Torus Insurance. He was also employed by The Hartford, where he managed process improvement efforts within the company’s Product Development and IT areas.
He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Boston University, and a Six Sigma Black Belt from Villanova University.
