Dr. Kayla Pelegrin is part of 3M’s Data Informatics team, and brings more than 20 years of healthcare experience, including 15 years in health information systems. Her career spans both health system provider and healthcare IT vendors, as well as a primary care physician.
Prior to joining 3M, she served as Vice President at GE/Caradigm, where she was responsible for developing the strategy and execution of their payer and provider product roadmaps, including clinical requirements and product definition. She also led the product management, clinical analysts, clinical strategy and user experience organizations.
Dr. Pelegrin also served as Director of Medical Informatics and Ambulatory Chief Medical Information Officer at Trinity Health. In her tenure, she was integral in leading the strategic planning, integration, and implementation of clinical information systems and technology across the care continuum. Prior to Trinity Health, she served as a Healthcare Executive & Product Director with the Cerner Corporation. In her six years with Cerner, she served as the primary driver for the development and execution of order management products, as well as a Clinical Strategist.
