                                                    Katy Mahraj serves as the director of innovation for women’s health for the Acceleration Lab at the Penn Medicine Center for Health Care Innovation and Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Pennsylvania Health System.
In her role, Katy is dedicated to the systemic transformation of care delivery by the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and its partners to define and create the future of women’s health care. She works with leaders in women’s health across Penn Medicine to turn ideas into measurable impact in the areas of value-based care - defined as better care, better health, lower cost, and enhanced patient and provider experience.
Katy received her bachelor’s degree with highest honors in women, gender, and sexuality studies from Harvard University and her master’s degree in information science from the University of Michigan School of Information. Katy holds a graduate certificate in health informatics from the University of Michigan School of Information and School of Public Health and a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from Villanova University.
