Mark Pitts leads the Health Care Executive Advisory team at SAS. With more than 27 years of experience, he has touched almost every aspect of the US health care system, including provider, payer and integrated systems. He worked in the provider arena for 16 years at the University of Florida Health System, where he held leadership roles in information technology. Pitts moved to the payer sector at UnitedHealth Group, where he founded the UnitedHealthcare data science team and built an award-winning platform called Fin360 using SAS® technology. He subsequently served in executive roles at SourceHOV, Highmark Health and Excellus BlueCross BlueShield.
