Guy Tennyson is the Director of EHR Support Services for Sutter Health’s Office of Patient Experience. Current areas of accountability includes MyHealth Online (Epic MyChart), Sutter’s patient portal, MHO Support Desk Services and MHO Analytic reporting. His areas of focus includes the patient portal which allows patients access into their medical record via Web or app and also HealthKit, WayFinding, and MyChart Bedside.
Guy has spoken at multiple Epic User Group Meetings on several My Health Online projects and patient portal ground breaking initiatives. He is also a key speaker at several internal leadership meetings as an expert to Sutter’s Patient Portal.

Guy has been with Sutter Health for over 6 years, starting out as the My Health Online System Support Manager before being promoted to his current position in 2013. Prior to joining Sutter Health, Guy spent the previous twelve years in acute healthcare Information Systems as desktop support technician, Support Manager and Information Systems Director at two bay area hospitals. Upon graduating from High School, Guy spent the next 10 years in the US Navy as an Avionics Technician, serving in both Desert Shield and Desert Storm earning multiple Navy awards including two Navy Achievement Awards, three Southwest Asia Campaign Medals and the Kuwait Liberation Medal.
Guy has a Bachelor’s of Science in Computer Information Systems and a Master’s in Business Administration.
