Mark Binstock, Chief Medical Information Officer for Bon Secours Mercy Health System will be sharing the story of how Bon Secours Mercy paired an analytics platform with changes to EHR tools to reshape providers’ opioid prescribing behaviors. His team was recognized for their work in the Healthcare Innovation Innovator Awards program.
This session will focus on tools created as part of a broader data-driven approach at Bon Secours Mercy Health that aimed to improve the identification of at-risk patients, encourage early treatment referrals, establish acute withdrawal protocols, and provide more efficient access to Ohio’s Prescription Drug Monitoring Program (PDMP) database.
