Steve Penney is a Mobile Specialist with Brigham Health Information Systems, focusing on strategy and the delivery of innovative mobile and voice solutions. Steve is passionate about developing and progressing the ways technology can improve the hospital experience, for patients, families, and caregivers. Steve’s IT experience outside of healthcare includes management and innovation roles for both private sector and military organizations. He has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from Westfield State University, an MBA from UMass Boston, and was a Technical Sergeant in the Massachusetts Air National Guard. Steve is also an Amazon Web Services Certified Developer, and enjoys experimenting with cloud, serverless compute, and voice assistance technologies.
