Caroline Coy is an Innovation Strategy Manager in the Brigham Digital Innovation Hub. Prior to joining the iHub, Caroline was the Branch Chief for Strategic Initiatives in the Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT (ONC) within the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services. In this role, she led a team focused on executing initiatives related to the intersection of digital and public health. This included responding to public health priorities such as the opioid epidemic, incentivizing adoption and use of digital health technology, and supporting innovation through public events and prize competitions. Caroline has experience planning and executing strategic initiatives and partnerships with diverse stakeholders including startups and the innovation community.
Previously, Caroline was a Presidential Management Fellow at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) where she had the opportunity to complete special projects with the National Institutes on Drug Abuse, Cancer, and Aging. She also has experience working on health policy and program management at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) as well as for an academic medical center and non-governmental organizations including the Carter Center. Caroline holds a Master of Public Health from Emory University and a BA from Case Western Reserve University.
