Martin (Marty) Lupinetti brings 25+ years of healthcare-public sector experience providing executive leadership, strategic business planning, governance, policy and technology implementation and deployment oversight to a variety of healthcare and public sector entities in the region. Martin led the development of the initial business plan, governance, and financial sustainability model that launched HealthShare Exchange (HSX) in 2011.
Marty and his accomplished staff at HSX now work with more than 60 member/participant hospitals, 6 major insurers, and over 12,500 providers and over 8 million patients delivering a variety of health data sharing capabilities and value that include Direct, Enhanced Direct, ENS, API, FHIR and Query based services. HSX has since launched a marketplace, population health/analytics capabilities and has expanded geographic coverage and data sharing capabilities from SE PA in to neighboring states including New Jersey and Delaware.
Martin's recent roles included Principal/Public Sector Lead, North Highland, Director, Deloitte Consulting, managing a 600+ person public sector outsourcing center, PwC's Project Management Center of Excellence, and CSC where he managed software development efforts for both the FAA and DOD.
Martin has presented at numerous national and regional events on health data sharing and innovation related topics. He and the HSX team were recognized by Philadelphia Business Journal in 2015 as healthcare company of year for innovation. He was recently named one of healthcare's best innovators by Philly Biz in 2016. This year, the HSX team was recognized by SHIEC, a national HIE organization representing over 70 HIEs, and awarded the Achievement Award for Data Quality.
