Rachel is an energetic leader in the healthcare innovation field. In addition to her role as President and Executive Director of Prime Health, a nationally-leading health innovation ecosystem and nonprofit, she is proud to serve as a member of Colorado's eHealth Commission, advising and guiding health IT advancement across the state.
Rachel has expertise in the clinical, operational, and technological implementation of tele-based modes of care delivery. She specializes in Medicaid-focused services, and has worked with numerous provider organizations to successfully design, implement and maintain virtual care programs in various urban and rural settings including payer, managed care, primary care, community mental health center, and residential. She also has expertise in the Medicaid payer and managed care space, and her work has given her an in-depth understanding of how health care ecosystems and stakeholders work together across the spectrum, along with insight into successful strategies for navigating complex, multi-organizational environments from the macro to the granular.
Rachel is interested in the variations and commonalities of how some of today’s most complex healthcare challenges are experienced across the continuum of care. She believes healthcare is a human right, and is passionate about serving the underserved.
