He is a US ARMY veteran and results-oriented security and privacy leader with a successful track record of directing leading-edge IT security initiatives in healthcare. With nearly 18 years of expertise within healthcare IT, Riley encompasses a deep breadth of knowledge with industry related regulations and standards including: HIPAA/HITECH, HITRUST, Health Industry Cybersecurity Practices (HICP), PCI-DSS and ITIL. His health IT security projects have spanned from compliance and control gap assessments, full program and policy refresh, identity access management design, data loss prevention business enablement, Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) replacement projects, and Affordable Care Act implementation oversight. In addition, Riley has delivered security training sessions to Centura Health and The Mayo Clinic.
