As vice president of data informatics at 3M HIS, Mr. Burke is responsible for driving the population and performance analytics strategy and building 3M’s performance management platform to support that strategy in delivering real value to clients. Prior to this role, Mr. Burke led the strategic business development team at 3M HIS, where he managed relationships with hundreds of industry vendors that partner with 3M for its industry-defining methodologies. He also led marketing efforts for the ICD-10 implementation, managed development of 3M’s computer-assisted coding technology, served as a division Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, and gained an appreciation for how healthcare works as a client sales representative. Before joining 3M in 2001, Mr. Burke was the CEO of a distribution company.
