Patrick Phelan is Chief Information Security Officer of University of California, San Francisco and Davis, two of the premier academic medical centers in the country. He is responsible for security strategy for systems supporting the research, education, and clinical missions of the institutions. A 25-year IT veteran, he is a member of several professional organizations, holds CISSP, CEH, CISM certifications, and a B.S. in computer science from UCLA.
