Lisa Haney oversees the Planning and Watershed Management and Natural Resources departments at the Orange County Water District (OCWD). Under Lisa’s oversight, these departments prepare the District’s environmental documents, resource agency permit applications, Groundwater Management Plan, Long-Term Facilities Plan, and conduct the District’s natural resource management, watershed planning, and recharge planning.
Lisa has more than 20 years of experience in public utilities and regulatory policy and compliance. Prior to joining the OCWD, she worked for Irvine Ranch Water District, Orange County Sanitation District and Los Angeles County Sanitation District. Lisa holds a bachelor’s degree in zoology from Northern Arizona University and a master’s degree in marine science from the University of Charleston, South Carolina.
