Dr. Andrew Earles, Ph.D., P.E., P.H., BC.WRE is a nationally recognized stormwater and drainage engineer with more than two decades of experience in urban hydrology, hydraulics, and flood risk management. He serves as Chief Executive Officer at Wright Water Engineers, where he leads technical and strategic efforts on complex stormwater, drainage, and water quality projects across the western United States and beyond.
Dr. Earles specializes in urban stormwater management, drainage master planning, floodplain analysis, and regulatory hydrology, with extensive experience with MS4 programs and stormwater criteria development. He has played a leading role in the development and update of major regional and municipal storm drainage and stormwater quality manuals, including multiple volumes and chapters of the Mile High Flood District’s Urban Storm Drainage Criteria Manual.
In addition to his consulting practice, Dr. Earles is an accomplished author, instructor, and speaker on stormwater and drainage engineering topics. He has published extensively in peer reviewed journals and industry publications and has taught graduate level hydrology and hydraulics courses, as well as professional training programs for engineers, planners, and regulators.
