Michael Lasko, Director of EHS and Quality for Boyle Transportation, has been working in transportation for over 20 years. He began his career as a professional driver before moving into operations and safety management. Michael joined Boyle Transportation as the Manager of Safety and Quality in 2015. In 2018, Michael was the winner of Heavy Duty Trucking Magazine’s Safety and Compliance Award. He is a certified Smith System Advanced Driving Concepts Instructor, DOT trained and certified Hazardous Materials Instructor, and a certified ISO 9001 Internal Auditor. During his tenure at Boyle, the company has won the TCA Fleet Safety Grand Prize in 2017 and has been recognized as one of the 20 Best Fleets to Drive For eight consecutive years, and in 2020 and 2021 was named The best fleet overall for the small carrier division, in 2022 Boyle Transportation was inducted into the Best Fleets To Drive For Hall of Fame. Prior to joining Boyle, he was the Safety Manager for New Penn Motor Express and had previously worked for Panera Bread as the northeast Distribution Manager and was also the Chairman of Panera Bread's Transportation Safety Committee. Michael graduated Summa Cum Laude from Bristol College and attended Bryant University.
