David McKean is the Executive Vice President of Strategic Initiatives, Business Development, and Procurement for Clarience Technologies. McKean joined the Company in 2019 bringing more than 35 years of expertise in the transportation industry.
McKean began his career with General Motors in 1983 and most recently served as Executive Director of Global Purchasing and Supply Chain. In 2013 he joined Navistar as Vice President and Chief Procurement Officer, where he was responsible for overseeing all procurement activity as well as logistics operations, supply chain risk management and supplier diversity activities.
McKean received his MBA in Operations Management from the University of Michigan, his bachelor’s in Industrial Distribution from Clarkson University, and his associate degree from the State University of New York at Delhi and attended the Disney Institute focusing on leading and sustaining a service culture. McKean currently sits on the Michigan State University Supply Chain Council, an advisory board, providing input and guidance into Michigan State University's best-in-class Supply Chain Management Program and development of their students.
