Mark Fenton graduated in Mechanical Engineering in 2004 and was selected as Future Facilities second ever consultant engineer. After 8 years’ experience modelling new data centres, trouble shooting and optimizing existing facilities alongside software support and testing he was appointed to the role of Product Manager for Future Facilities Data Center digital twin software, 6SigmaDCX. This task has a broad remit bringing him in contact with designers, facility managers and IT managers for many global data center enterprises giving him a unique understanding of what is needed from design and operations standpoint. Since the acquisition by Cadence Design Systems, Mark has overseen the launch of Cadence Reality DC software suite, which covers both design and operational digital twin technology.
