Simone is a Mechanical Engineer by training and has broad industry experiences in designing and managing complex projects. For the past two years, he has brought his skill and expertise to BMO, providing Global Engineering support to critical infrastructure (Data Centres, Trading Floors, Call Centres), office tower projects and select retail engineering initiatives. In addition to ensuring the reliability of the Bank’s critical operations, he is also heavily involved in simultaneously reducing the operation’s environmental impact, thereby supporting BMO’s aggressive Climate Ambition. Through his global scope, Simone and the team he leads, have been instrumental in helping BMO achieve recognition such as top 95 percentile on the Dow Jones Sustainability Index and the highest score for Environmental Reporting and #1 ranking by the World Benchmarking Alliance for financial institutions in support of a just and sustainable economy.
