Louise received her MD from Baylor College of Medicine and practiced family medicine in Pueblo, Colorado for 28 years. She has been involved in residency training, community health center, and medical staff leadership roles. Her involvement in health IT dates back to 1996 when she began using an EMR in her private practice. More recently, she became board certified in clinical informatics and has enjoyed the role of CMIO at Centura Health for 7 years.
