12/21 R-Zero: Using Data to Advance Disinfection and Patient Outcomes Across the Health Care Value Chain
Lucas Felt
Description

For decades, UV-C has been the leading disinfection solution for high-risk hospital environments. Yet, the inefficient and ineffective manual application of harmful chemical disinfectants remains the primary method of disinfection in most care facilities. Leaving HAIs to continue putting a major burden on the healthcare system, costing upwards of $45B annually. However, the COVID-19 pandemic accelerated the technical progression and innovation of UV-C technology, providing systems that better support disinfection practices across the care value chain - with data. By correlating disinfection data with patient outcomes, we can better understand the factors that increase risk and rate of infection… and change them.

This forum will look at innovation and new applications of UV-C technology, in both occupied and unoccupied spaces, while diving into how disinfection data capture is revolutionizing outcomes across the health care value chain.
