Ed Carson is a Certified Healthcare Environmental Services Professional (CHESP) with over 30 years of Environmental Services leadership with Sodexo at multiple hospitals. Driven by a deep commitment to protecting patients and colleagues alike, he has led the 95-person Environmental Services Team at Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital in Santa Clarita, California for the past 10 years. Under his leadership and with close interdisciplinary collaboration, Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital has decreased infection rates overall during his tenure and has been a regional hub during the Covid-19 pandemic, treating over 1,400 Covid-19 patients and administering over 52,000 vaccination shots to-date.
