As VPL’s CEO, Eric is on a mission to solve industry-wide problems in healthcare. His diverse 25-year
background in supply chain, freight management, consulting and finance make him uniquely suited to help
drive VPL’s pioneering work as the technology leader in the healthcare supply chain space. Eric specializes
in pinpointing the unique needs of the industry and seeking best-in-class solutions that include identifying
strategic partners, healthcare providers, technology companies, and suppliers with the capabilities to take
VPL—and its customers—to the next level.

Prior to starting VPL, Eric and his business partner introduced the concept of freight management in
healthcare more than 20 years ago. He became known as an innovator who thinks big about creative and
disruptive changes for the industry, ultimately leading to the development of VPL’s cutting edge software
products focused on delivering transparency, partnership, and value for the healthcare supply chain.

A Pennsylvania native and graduate of Temple University with a B.A. in Accounting, Eric and his wife,
Heidi, are the parents of two sons, and make their home in the greater Philadelphia area. Eric loves to
travel, and has made an avocation of studying, learning about, and—most importantly—tasting wines
from around the globe.
