Vamsee Pamula, PhD, is Founder and President of Baebies, with mission to ensure a healthy start for everyone. Prior to this, he was founder and CTO of Advanced Liquid Logic (sold to Illumina). His research interests include development of inexpensive and accessible newborn screening and pediatric diagnostic products. He is a principal investigator on several NIH projects, is a peer reviewer for many journals, has given numerous talks on digital microfluidics, has published over 60 articles, authored 5 book chapters/book, and has over 420 issued and pending patents. He is also an entrepreneur in residence at Duke University.
