Sara Brown leads global portfolio strategies, manages day-to-day operations for top line growth and profitability, and provides leadership in the development of innovative solutions focused on manual and automation reagents at Thermo Fisher Scientific.

Sara has held multiple product management roles, supporting the Genetic Sciences Division qPCR business, for the last six years. Most recently, she worked as Director of Global Product Development, managing a market leading portfolio of genomics consumables, including Applied Biosystems TaqMan qPCR assays and digital PCR assays for research and molecular diagnostics. She has brought extensive experience to Thermo Fisher Scientific, having held various positions at Beckman Coulter Diagnostics (A Danaher Company), Bio-Rad Laboratories and Life Technologies prior.

Sara is a graduate of University of Wisconsin - Madison with a PhD, Biochemistry, of University of Wisconsin – Madison School of Business with a Graduate Certificate in Strategic Innovation, of Yale University with a Master of Science, Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology and of University of Wisconsin – Madison with a Bachelor of Science, Biochemistry.
