Programmable AI for High-Mix Low-Volume Bin Picking
Thursday, May 23, 2024, 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM

Advances in 3D vision and motion planning software are creating new opportunities in bin picking, giving robots the ability to locate, pick and manipulate objects from cluttered bins and shelves at very high speeds. Glover will explain how they can now detect 3D objects in a range of positions and orientations, even when partially occluded or in tight, variable workspaces. He'll also discuss how advances in the technology have greatly reduced the integration burden of deploying a bin-picking system.
