Mark DeSantis is CEO of Bloomfield, a company he founded in 2019 to provide accurate plant-level health and performance assessments using AI and machine vision. A tech entrepreneur, lecturer, and educator, DeSantis holds a doctorate from George Mason University and and an MBA from University of Dayton. He is an adjunct professor at Carnegie Mellon University's College of Engineering. In previous roles, he was the executive director and senior adviser for Cascadia Capital in Pittsburgh, PA, and strategic advisor for MIR Ventures in Palo Alto, CA.
