Amy Hansen is dually licensed in the state of Texas as a Licensed Professional Counselor and an Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor. She has over 25 years experience as an entrepreneur, director and manager. She is currently in private practice as a therapist and also operates a detoxification and residential short term treatment program for substance abuse in the Houston area. She has conducted programming for mental health, adolescent and adult substance abuse treatment programs. As a director, she has extensive experience in program operations along a continuum of care including hospitalization, supportive and residential facilities, intensive outpatient, community mental health and detoxification programs. Her most recent accomplishment includes establishing protocols for opiate and alcohol dependence with established guidelines for reducing chronic relapse through medical intervention.
