Adi Jaffe is Co-Founder and Executive Director of Alternatives Behavioral Health, an addiction treatment center and neurofeedback institute in Los Angeles. He also teaches courses at University California-Los Angeles (UCLA) and California State University-Long Beach on statistics, addiction and behavioral neuroscience. He received his PhD from UCLA in 2010. Since then, he has been published in peer-reviewed journals, presented at conferences across the country, and been featured on talk shows and in documentaries to discuss current topics in addiction. Jaffe's work and research focus on changing the conversation around mental health in this country. He is passionate about eliminating the shame and stigma that worsen mental health issues. In this respect, he draws on his own experience of overcoming drug issues as a source of inspiration for others.
