Steve Koh, MD, MPH, MBA, is Assistant Professor of Psychiatry, Director for Outpatient Psychiatric Services, Director of Community Psychiatry Program, Co-Founder of Psychiatry Nurse Practice Clinical Training Program, and Director of Tele-Mental-Health Program at University of California, San Diego (UCSD). He is board certified in adult and geriatric psychiatry and carries certification for community psychiatry from American Association of Community Psychiatry. Koh graduated from Johns Hopkins University and medical school at UCSD and received a masters in public health from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health as well as a masters in business administration from Johns Hopkins Carey School of Business. Additionally, Koh is past president of the San Diego Psychiatric Society and the Association of Korean American Psychiatrists, and is board chair of San Diego NAMI, and past representative of the American Psychiatric Association, San Diego County Medical Society, and American Association of Geriatric Psychiatry. Koh was the American Psychiatric Association's instructor for the DSM-5 and has been involved in the DSM-5 development and review process.
