The Community Coalition for Family Wellness coalition addresses a host of substance use disorder issues including adapting evidence-based strategies to target the primary prevention of prescription drug and heroin use on a community level. In this presentation, attendees will explore options for community medication disposal and the costs/benefits of each method and discover new opportunities in which parents, emergency responders and prevention organizations can work together on solutions.
