Josh Noblin of Beacon House in Pacifica Grove, California, has experience working in a number of treatment settings. Noblin approaches addiction from a psychodynamic perspective grounded in attachment theory and neuropsychobiology. This approach is a natural outcropping of his PhD dissertation at Pacifica Graduate Institute entitled, “Living Adopted: The Experiences of People Adopted During Their Toddler Years.” His current research is focused on increasing understanding of applying attachment theory to group psychotherapy.
