As director of downstream for Stratas Advisors LLC, a global energy research and consulting firm, Aditya advises refiners, energy companies, and governments on refining economics, fuels policy, and lower-carbon fuels, including renewable feedstocks and hydrogen.
He began his career in engineering interning at Reliance's Jamnagar refinery, after which he joined Larsen & Toubro as a process engineer, where he focused on commissioning oil and gas facilities. Gradually moving into energy economics, Aditya subsequently joined Wood Mackenzie, where he led refining models for the Americas and also covered Latin American markets. He also currently contributes to an ASTM International task force on standards for co-processing renewable feedstocks.
Aditya holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from the Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai, and an MS in Environmental Analysis from Rice University.
