Dr. Klingen joined Main Line HealthCare in May 2011. He is responsible for facilitating the EMR project strategy, implementation, optimization and adoption for users throughout the Main Line HealthCare network.
Prior to his work at Main Line HealthCare, Dr. Klingen was the medical director of information services for Crozer-Keystone Health System, and was the clinical lead for their successful ambulatory EMR program, community EMR program, and patient portal. Dr. Klingen also helped develop a physician reporting dashboard to support population management and network level quality initiatives.
Board-certified in family medicine, Dr. Klingen earned his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College, and completed his family medicine residency at Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News, Virginia. He completed a clinical informatics fellowship at the Medical College of Virginia/Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, and has pursued further graduate studies in the field of medical informatics.
