Stephanie serves as the 2-1-1 Statewide Senior Director at Mile High United Way in Denver, Colorado. At the state level, in coordination with the four regional 2-1-1 contact centers, she creates and leads the 2-1-1 statewide strategic direction, with a focus on building statewide partnerships and enhancing the statewide program. At the local level, she provides strategic and program management direction of Mile High United Way’s 2-1-1 Contact Center.
Stephanie has been with Mile High United Way and the 2-1-1 program for over 15 years. While instrumental in developing the 2-1-1 program, both locally and statewide, she has also provided critical lead support during 2-1-1’s activation and response to some of Colorado’s most devastating disasters, from the evacuation of Katrina survivors in 2005 to our now current COVID pandemic. Stephanie sets the strategic direction and leads 2-1-1’s work within the eco-system of Colorado’s initiatives to address social determinants of health and build toward a Colorado coordinated care model.
Stephanie has extensive experience in the development, execution, and achievement of strategic business direction and mission. Prior to joining Mile High United Way, her career included over 20 years of experience in the telecommunications business (Bell Labs, AT&T, Lucent, Avaya) dealing specifically with customers outside of the United States. For the majority of those years, she led teams around the world in various roles of global operational responsibility.
