Eric Zuhlke RN, BSN, PMP is the Associate Vice President (AVP), Office of Enterprise Project Management and Performance Improvement. He has over 19 years' experience in information technology and healthcare. His current responsibility is the formation and execution of the HonorHealth network Enterprise Project Management Office and Continuous Improvement division. He partners with Executive Leaders and Strategic Planning to ensure the right resources are aligned on the most strategic projects to ensure optimal planning and execution. In parallel, he is working towards standardizing and optimizing the overall communication, reporting, and productivity across HonorHealth.
His prior three years were spent as AVP, IT Network Applications for HonorHealth. In this role, he was part of the senior executive information technology leadership team and led all of the software applications (clinical, business, and financial) across the HonorHealth network. He had primary responsibility over the Epic applications, including the five hospital, concurrent go-live on October 1, 2016. In addition, he was a member of the Innovative Care Partners (Accountable Care Organization) Board and led both the training and interface teams.
Prior to joining HonorHealth, Eric served in career progressive roles as a nurse to PMO Director to Ambulatory Applications Senior Director (Banner Health in Phoenix, AZ) to CIO (Abrazo Health Care - part of Tenet Corporation). Prior to HonorHealth, he embarked on a consulting career in which he assisted organizations with interim leadership positions and strategic projects ranging from ACO formations to ICD-10 to EHR replacements.
Eric maintains active involvement in several healthcare and information technology organizations (HIMSS, PMI and CHIME). Eric enjoys spending time with his family (wife and two children), sports (Go Cardinals), and anything outdoors.
