MariJo is currently focused on developing and overseeing the UCHealth Affiliate Outreach Program in which UCHealth is hosting Epic, ERP and other clinical applications for hospitals and ambulatory clinics across Colorado, Wyoming and Nebraska. Having grown up on a ranch surrounded only by the sandhills of Nebraska, building a program that allows small community and critical access hospitals use of a mature, integrated EHR in which providers can share information, access UCHealth resources virtually and keep patients in their community for their care, is a daily reward for MariJo. She also has responsibility for Virtual Health, the Project Management Office, Ancillary Applications, Integration and Interface Development, Image Management and Clinical Engineering that support UCHealth’s 12 hospitals and more than 300 clinics. MariJo is a member of CHIME, on the Colorado HIMSS BOD and completed a Master of Science in Medical Informatics at Northwestern University in 2011. When not working at UCHealth, she is the mom of three boys and a dog and runs trails, half marathons and relays for fun and thinking time.
