The session will cover the full life cycle of these energy storage sites, including site identification, the interconnection process and Duke Interconnection Queue, engineering (system impact studies for grid connected and islanding operation), deployment/ construction, and the operation/maintenance of a microgrid site. This session will also highlight some of Duke’s recent projects, lessons learned, and future Duke Energy goals relating to energy storage and decarbonization.
