Michael Cyros serves as the VP Sales & Support for the Americas for Euresys and is responsible for the US subsidiary Euresys Inc. as its President. He is based in Newburyport, MA since joining Euresys again for the second time in his career in early 2019. Euresys (Belgium) together with its subsidiary Sensor to Image (S2I, Germany) is the recognized leader in the computer imaging and machine vision markets as a supplier of high performance image acquisition and control devices (Frame Grabbers), IP Cores for implementation of machine vision camera interfaces in FPGA, and for its widely used 2D, 3D and Deep Learning vision software libraries.

Euresys is relied upon by many imaging and vision equipment makers and systems integrators for critical high performance and precise image acquisition hardware and vision software. Euresys/S2I IP Cores for FPGAs that implement the leading digital imaging interconnect interfaces such as CoaXPress,10G GigE Vision and USB3 Vision is used by many camera makers and image acquisition devices such as frame grabbers and embedded vision processors.

Mike has been involved in the vision and imaging markets for more than 30 years. He was previously employed for 13 years at Allied Vision where he held the global positions of Chief Commercial Office and CEO for Allied Vision Technologies Canada (formerly Prosilica). Prior to that he held the position of CEO of the newly formed Euresys Inc subsidiary of Euresys Belgium, as well as several positions at Datacube Inc. over a 15 year period including Director of International Operations and COO. He holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Computer Science from Boston University and has worked in the vision and imaging industry since 1987. He has also served several terms as a member of the AIA (Automated Imaging Association) Board of Directors, as well as its parent organization, Association for Advancing Automation (A3) and is also a past Chairman of the AIA and A3 Boards. He is the proud recipient of AIA’s Achievement Award recognizing his leadership and contributions to the industry.
