Robert Basile has over 15 years’ experience in the networking industry, specializing in fiber optic networks and wireless technologies. During his career, Mr. Basile has held a variety of positions at Motorola, Zhone Technologies, and Corning including Integration, Development, Sales Engineering & Architecture. Mr. Basile holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Systems Engineering from The University of Massachusetts at Amherst. He is a regular speaker at industry events and has been a part of some of the largest Converged Network deployments in the world. Mr. Basile has consistently been a thought leader on the ways to drive fiber deeper into the network and future-proofing delivery of IP based services through software-defined networks.
