Description
How will the concept of interoperability evolve forward over the next few years? A panel of industry experts and leaders will discuss the federal health IT policy, operational, and strategic health IT aspects of interoperability. Among the elements to be analyzed will be how the Trusted Exchange Framework and Common Agreement (TEFCA) will ultimately be implemented; what the QHINs (Qualified Health Information Networks) will look like in practice; and what steps CIOs, CMIOs, CTOs, and other health IT leaders in patient care organizations will need to take in order to prepare for true nationwide inoperability.
