An emergency medicine physician by training, Mike Woodruff is the chief patient experience officer for Intermountain Healthcare in Utah, Idaho, and Nevada. Mike leads the office of patient experience, which combines the functions of safety, quality, and experience of care for an integrated health system with 24 hospitals, 225 clinics, and more than over 40,000 employees. The team supports excellence in patient safety, clinical risk management, patient experience, quality measurement, antibiotic stewardship, infection prevention, and survey readiness across the continuum of care.
