As SSM Health’s System Vice President of Clinical Integration Tim Johnson, MD, FACP works with all components of the health system to integrate the clinical and operational components of care throughout SSM Health. He leads the SSM Medical Group and ensures that the Medical Group delivers exceptional care to patients across Wisconsin, Missouri, Illinois, and Oklahoma. Additionally, he oversees the operations of SSM Health’s transformation to a value-based health system.
Prior to joining SSM Health in 2019, he was at Intermountain Healthcare serving as Senior Medical Director of the Intermountain Medical Group. He previously held other leadership roles at Intermountain Healthcare including, member of the Intermountain Healthcare Board of Trustees, Administrative Medical Director, and Regional Medical Director.
Dr. Johnson attended the University of Utah, where he received his undergraduate degree in chemistry and then his medical degree. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at the University of Rochester and then spent a year as a chief resident. He is board certified in Internal Medicine.
