Avi Rushinek is an Accounting Professor at the University of Miami. Dr. Rushinek is on the editorial board of the Journal of Forensic and Investigative Accounting, IT Journal, and the Journal of Forensic Accounting. Dr. Avi Rushinek is a prolific author and frequently presents at Academic and Business Conferences and consults with Healthcare and Hi-Tech companies. His awards include the Computer Auditing Grant Award from PwC, Technology Grants from Microsoft, Panasonic, Sony Corporations, the Distinguished Service Award from the Dade Chapter of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the Research Award from the University of Miami School of Business. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin and his B.A. from Tel Aviv University in Israel.
