Avi Rushinek is an Accounting Professor at the University of Miami. His research interests include data analytics, blockchain, business intelligence, algorithmic formulation for Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Trading Systems, forensic accounting, fraud examination, and Healthcare Analytics. Dr. Rushinek is on the editorial board of the Journal of Forensic and Investigative Accounting, IT Journal, and the Journal of Forensic Accounting. Dr. Avi Rushinek is a prolific author and frequently presents at Academic and Business Conferences and consults with Healthcare and Hi-Tech companies. His awards include the Computer Auditing Grant Award from PwC, Technology Grants from Microsoft, Panasonic, Sony Corporations, the Distinguished Service Award from the Dade Chapter of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the Research Award from the University of Miami School of Business. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin and his B.A. from Tel Aviv University in Israel. He specializes in fully automated blockchain cryptocurrencies day-trading algorithms development, including but not limited to equities/stocks, commodities, futures, currencies, trading robots (auto-bots) & Robotic Process Automation (RPC) software development. Dr. Rushinek provides forensic accounting & computing services, expert witness testimony & computer litigation support. His research focuses on methodologies for the Search Engine Optimization SERP (Search Engine Results Page), live broadcast lecture capture streams, and ways to archive them. His latest research analyzes predictive algorithms for the healthcare industry.
